Camps

We are excited to welcome you back for 2024! We will have 4 camps this summer through July and August, with each camp running from Monday – Friday, 3 hours per day. Be sure to pack a snack, lots of water, sunscreen, a towel, an extra sweater or some dry clothes, and your skimboard if you have one. Rentals are available for $5 per day, or you can purchase one of our skimboards for $90 and pick up on the first day of camp.

We try our best to maximize our campers’ time on the water! Sometimes conditions outside of our control such as storms, wind, and rain may occur. In these cases, we try to get participants out on the water for at least one hour per morning or afternoon. We also take this time to play beach games and learn sport theory, with safety always as our top priority.

Session 1:
July 8 - 12
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Session 2:
July 22 - 26
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Session 3:
August 5 - 9
12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Session 4:
August 19 - 23
12:00 pm - 3:00pm

At our camps we specialize in the following:

Individual Attention

Everyone learns at different paces. Our camps are designed to help each kid learn tricks at their own pace. Instructors give unique and individualized tips for every kid depending on how they learn and at what pace.

Tricks!

This is the best part, kids will learn a variety of tricks ranging from a simple 180 all the way to a pop and shuvit reverse fire hydrant! If any of the kids feel up to it and want to challenge themselves, specially built ramps and rails will be brought out for more advanced riders, making these camps suitable for riders of all ability levels.

Fun games and some ocean swims!

Everyone needs a break here and there. After getting all sandy from skimboarding we usually take two swims in the ocean – one before break and once before the end of camp. This varies depending on the day and the group of kids. We also play a variety of games including Octopus, British Bulldog, Capture the Sandal and various different types of tag including skimboard tag and the famous mudwar!
